I'm a UX Designer in Seattle, Washington. I have a bachelor's degree of Human Centered Design and Engineering with a focus in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Washington. I had recently worked as an Interaction Design Intern at Siemens Healthineers and currently working as UX Designer at DemocracyLab. Throughout my experiences, I learned to work as a team, consider all the details, and make a design decision with a good reason.
I have the empathy to understand the diversity of users’ needs and to solve the obstacle they face through utilizing user-centered design. Building empathy is not just understanding who they are. It's understanding their current situations, moods, and more.
However, it's not just about the user. The intersection of user's need and business goal is where the designer should focus. Based on my experience working in Nordstrom and Siemens Healthineers and meeting many mentors, I have learned that the market's response is the true measure of a design's success.
Why do I design? My passion is to make people's lives easy and happy through my designs. And this can only happen through user-centered design.
